The City Slickers Tour was welcomed with opened arms in Denton, TX. The energy in the basement of J & J’s Pizza was definitely one of the highlights of the tour thus far. Darkly lit, retro decorated, plumbing and electrical pipes overhead, and all the way live! Shout out to Character, Ms. La, and BeKnow for rocking dope sets and showing so much love for the kids from Sacramento. Dj Uppercutz was on the tables from start to finish, mixing choice cutz and supporting all the artist. Mr. P Chill crushed his return to the city of Denton with a purely dope set. This was my first time in Denton, and I have to say I did my MF’n thang! I gave them songs from a wide spectrum of my topics, and injected each flow with my signature style and passion.
